The KitchenIQ Grip 2-Stage Knife Sharpener is lightweight to use, portable and easy to use on either a flat surface of the edge of the counter or table. Carbide blades and crossed ceramic rods have predefined sharpening angles that provide correct sharpening angle in each case. Carbide blades (wholesale) provide quick edge setting, and the ceramic rods (Fine) are used to refine the final edge. Two stages of sharpening offer the possibility of a razor edge on very dull or damaged blades and cutting blades alterations already worn. Comes with non-slip rubber feet and a soft rubber grip making for comfort and stability when sharpening. The V-Grip bottom allows for stability and comfort when using the pen on the edge of a counter or table.

I got two of these. one for my mom and one for me. They work well enough to get most of the edge back on her old kitchen knifes. iIt does not make them super sharp but it gets the job done.

I went 5 years with the same knife set and always complained how dull they are... well not anymore! I picked this due to price and mostly good ratings. It didn't disappoint! My knives are like new again and cuts like butter.
